May 22, 2017 – Missing person – Donald James Phillips

 

Up to $3500 reward for info leading to felony arrest relating to missing person- Donald James Phillips from Willis Texas.

Multi-County Crime Stoppers was contacted by the family of a missing man from Willis Texas fearing foul play may be involved in his disappearance.  The family is working with Crime Stoppers to offer a supplemental reward up to $2500 in addition to the reward (up to $1000) Multi-County Crime Stoppers is offering for any information leading to the felony arrest of any person(s) involved in this disappearance.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the disappearance of Donald James Phillips who was last seen on 04/19/17 at his home in the Willis area. Donald is a 54 year old white male, 5’11” tall, weighing 240 pounds. Donald has a 2” vertical scar above his right lip near his nose. Donald may be in his vehicle, a gray 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix 4 door car with Texas license plate HWG-6426. Donald has a traumatic brain injury and takes daily medication which was found in his room by investigating Detectives. Donald is an out of work truck driver who is known to frequent truck stops from Huntsville to East Houston. On January 08, 2017 at 4:26 AM a white male wearing all black and a black mask just showing his eyes and tip of his nose broke the front window of the “C Store” located at the 400 Block of Stephen F Austin Drive, Conroe.  The male entered the store and took several Lotto scratch off tickets, cigarettes, and chewing tobacco (snuff).  The male exited the store at 4:28 AM.  A few of the Lotto tickets were cashed just over an hour after the incident at locations off IH45 SB/Sawdust RD, Sawdust/ Sawmill, Woodlands PKWY/ West Panther Creek, and several locations on College Park Dr.

February 7, 2017 – High School Vandalism
On Thursday morning at approximately 1:00 AM the Magnolia West High School located on FM 1774 was broken into and vandals created tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of damage to the interior of the school and also smashed several computers.  One suspect was caught on camera and appears to be a white or light skinned male with dark hair wearing distinctive clothing and a tattoo on his right arm protruding from his shirt sleeve.

January 24, 2017 – Aggravated Robbery

On January 3rd, 2017, just before 11:00 am, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to an Aggravated Robbery at Helzberg Diamonds jewelry store located inside the Woodlands Mall.  Two black males entered the store wearing reflective vests, gloves and what is believed to be fake dreadlocks.  One suspect spray painted a camera on top of a display case inside the store while the second suspect used a sledge hammer to break the glass of the display case.  The suspects stole six watches, valued over $70,000.00.  As the suspects exited the store they were confronted by a male customer in the mall who attempted to detain them.  The male was struck in the face by the suspect with the hammer.  He was transported by EMS to the hospital for treatment of a laceration to his nose.  The suspects exited the mall and left in a Red Toyota Rav 4, which was located abandoned at Lake Woodlands and IH-45 a short time later.  The vehicle was towed to the Montgomery County Crime Lab for processing.  CID and Crime Scene were notified and responded to the scene.  K-9 units tracked the suspects to the Tamina area before losing the scent and calling off the search.

January 10, 2017 – Home Invasion

Early Wednesday morning, January 4th a home invasion occurred on FM 3081 in San Jacinto County near the Montgomery County line. Victims say that the suspect described as a white male approximately 30 years of age, 6 feet tall and heavy set was wearing baggy clothes and had a swastika tattoo on the back of his head.   The suspect robbed the victims at gunpoint taking cash, firearms and electronics before fleeing in a mid-90’s, dark colored Jimmy Suburban type vehicle. The suspect was accompanied by a 26 year old white female identified as Dianna Gellner of the Willis/Conroe area. Law enforcement is seeking your help in identifying the gunman and determining the location of Gellner for questioning.

January 3, 2017 – Aggravated Robbery

On 01-03-17, at approximately 11:00 AM two black males wearing masks conducted a smash and grab at the Helzberg Diamonds store in The Woodlands Mall located at the 1200 Block of Lake Woodlands Drive.  Information is limited at this time; however, reports are that they broke the display cases and grabbed several items.  Additional information and photos if possible will be released as the investigation continues.

Dec. 20, 2016
On Saturday, December 10, 2016, at approximately 6:50 PM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division were dispatched to a robbery that had occurred at the Summer Hills Food Mart located in the 24200 block of Sorters Road, in Porter, Texas.

Since that time, a Crime Stoppers tip led Detectives to the identity of a 16 year old male, and subsequently to the identity of two other suspects in this crime.

Aggravated robbery warrants have been issued for Michael “Mike” Gene Jones, 17 year old male, (date of birth 08/21/1999), and Israel Treqwaun Hunter, 19 year old male, (date of birth 02/28/1997), in reference to the below listed robbery that occurred on December 10, 2016.

Thanks to several donations from citizens in Montgomery County to help increase the reward, Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $2500 for information leading to the arrest of these two suspects.

December 7, 2016 – Auto/Pedestrian Hit and Run

On October 07, 2016 Conroe Police Department responded to a report of an auto pedestrian crash in the 200 block of East Ave G. Upon arrival Officers observed EMS tending to an elderly white female that had been struck by the suspect vehicle, which failed to stop and remain at the scene. The elderly female was transported to hospital by ambulance. Witnesses at the scene described the suspect vehicle to be a tan or goldish colored pickup truck, possibly a regular cab or extended cab. Upon investigation some debris from the suspect vehicle, such as broken headlight assembly was confirmed by engraved numbers to be parts from a 1999-2002 GMC truck. The suspect vehicle should have sustained damage to the front right panel.


Nov. 1, 2016 – Breaking & Entering, South County I-45 Corridor

Montgomery County Crime Stoppers, in partnership with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, is asking your help in identifying a black male suspect who was observed breaking into multiple buildings to gain access to the business’s cash registers along the IH-45 Corridor in South Montgomery County.  The subject is described as black male 21-30 years of age, with a thin beard.

On Monday, August 29, 2016, at approximately 11:00 AM, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division were dispatched to a robbery that had occurred at a business, the Cash Store, in the 23600 block of Kelly Joe Smith, in Porter, Texas. Upon Deputies arrival, it was reported that a male entered the store and approach two employees inside. The employees reported hearing the “cocking” of a gun. The male then threatening them demanding money. The employees complied with the suspect’s demands and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then reportedly exited the store. The suspect was witnessed getting into a 2006-2013 model Chevy Impala, black in color, with chrome rims and two white racing stripes down the middle of the vehicle.

Descriptions of the suspect is a black male, approximately 5’11”, in his late 20s to early 30s, weighing approximately 175 pounds, wearing a white shirt, navy blue cargo pants, black boots, and had a white shirt over his head attempting to conceal his identity. August 23, 2016 –  Speedy Stop Convenience Store Burglary
Up to $4,000 CASH REWARD!!!!

Montgomery County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who broke into the Speedy Stop Convenience Store located at the 25600 block of I-45 North.  On the morning of July 07, 2016 at approximately 4 AM a black male gained entry into the store and stole a sum of cash and 16 cartons of Marlboro Menthol and Newport cigarettes.

The suspect is a black male approximately 5-8” to 6 feet tall, medium build and was wearing all black pants, shirt, heavy leather work gloves and a cap with a black scarf over his face.  The suspect was wearing a distinct “CiCi’s Pizza” employee cap and green Nike court shoes.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $1000 for information leading to the identity/arrest of this suspect and/or any others involved.  An anonymous benefactor has donated $3000 to increase the reward in this specific case.
